Customer Lists

Customer lists (csv) can be uploaded into HITS digital for various reporting uses. A list could include a salesrep’s book of accounts or a list of top customers. Many reports in HITS Digital can then be filtered by a list a of customers.

Customer lists are also used in Program reporting by mapping the HITS Customer # to a customer’s program Dealer # assigned by the manufacturer.

To manage customer lists in HITS Digital, go to Settings > Customer Lists

Click Add or Edit to edit a customer list.

This will provide the ability to download / upload a spreadsheet (csv) customer list.

To upload a new list:

  1. Click Add
  2. Give the list a List Title
  3. Choose File (from your computer)
  4. Upload
  5. Submit (to save)

It is critical that the first column of your customer list be the HITS Customer Number !

The other columns, in addition to containing the program dealer number can contain other information such as primary/ secondary distributor designation or salesrep assigned to the account. These fields can be used when creating a program Sellout report.

These lists are shared across your entire corporate, so anyone with permission can collaborate by keeping these lists current.
