A/R Info & Lookup options
HITS includes two open-item views for reviewing customer account activity: A/R Info & Lookup and A/R Info & Lookup Bal Fwd.
Both display color-coded invoices, payments, credits, and debits for easy reference, but they differ in how much account history is shown.
Color-coding is used to help distinguish transaction types:
- White – Invoices
- Pink – Payments
- Green – Credits
- Blue – Debits
A/R Info & Lookup

The A/R Info & Lookup screen shows all open or uncleared AR transactions for the selected customer.
Each row represents a transaction that still has an outstanding balance. From this view, users can right-click a transaction to see or modify details, post new payments, or apply credits.
Use this screen to:
- Review unpaid invoices and open payments
- Post or disburse payments to specific invoices
- View current balances, due dates, and finance charges
- Access Summary and Days Old tabs for account status and aging information
Right-clicking any transaction opens a context menu with options to:
- View or edit related details
- Create a new ROA payment
- Allocate to a workorder
- Export the selected data

A/R Info & Lookup Bal Fwd

The A/R Info & Lookup Bal Fwd screen displays all transactions — both open and cleared — along with a running account balance for each entry.
This layout allows users to see the complete payment history and track how invoices, credits, and debits have affected the balance over time.
Use this screen to:
- Review full account history including cleared and open transactions
- Track how payments, credits, and debits impact the customer’s running balance
- Verify adjustments and finance charges over time
- Access right-click options for viewing details or managing disbursements

Key Difference
Both views display open-item data for the same customer account:
-
A/R Info & Lookup: Shows only open or undisbursed transactions.
-
A/R Info & Lookup Bal Fwd: Shows all transactions (open and cleared) with a running balance calculated by each individual transaction.
Viewing Transactions and History
In the Customer A/R Info screen:
- The Transactions tab displays open or all items (depending on which view is selected).

- The Summary tab shows key account details, including total balance, current due, future due, and past due amounts.

-
The Days Old column calculates how many days have passed since a transaction’s due date using the current system date.
- This value does not reflect the customer’s last statement aging date.
- For statement-based aging, refer to the A/R Summary view.

Change Search Criteria
The Change Search Criteria button is located at the bottom of the A/R Info & Lookup screen.
It allows users to refine which transactions are displayed, such as invoices, payments, credits, or debits, and to include or exclude cleared history.
By default, only open and pending items display.
Selecting Change Search Criteria opens a filter window with several search options.
