Simple Tire Automatic Order Processing (AOP)

With AOP, Simple Tire orders get created in your HITS BPOS system complete with the Simple Tire PO#. In other words, no manual entering of Simple Tire orders (or PO#) in HITS BPOS. We also provide a program for building the new Simple Tire order Billing recap (the “pipe delimited” file) which will also include the Simple Tire PO#s. If you are not already using this billing report, please let our Tech Team know so that they can point you to it.

Additionally, with AOP, Simple Tire does a pre-order quantity check prior to sending an order. This helps avoid you receiving Simple Tire orders when a SKU’s quantities might have already gotten allocated since your last data feed.

We have a number of clients using AOP and they LOVE it. Consequently…

#1 – Please advise if you would like for us to activate AOP. If ‘YES’, two more questions…
#2 – Do you want the Simple Tire orders created in your system as Quotes or Workorders? (We recommend Workorders so that inventory is allocated, especially so that quantities are more accurately reflected on weekends.)
#3 – With AOP activated, a small red flashing message appears in the upper right hand corner of your HITS BPOS screen. This is configurable by user login. Who all on your team should get the red flashing alerts when Simple Tire orders are received? (Typically, our clients have everyone set to get the alert except for their bookkeeping staff and owners who are not actively working in the business.)

Assuming you want AOP, give us an extra day to get this set up as we have to provide credentials to Simple Tire and they have to activate electronic ordering on their side.

One other note…AOP orders will also include the URL for the Simple Tire label as a comment on the workorder. If you highlight the 1st row of the comments that contains the URL for the label, then right click, there is an option to “Launch Website”. This will enable you to print the Simple Tire shipping labels directly from HITS BPOS. Please note that you will still need to acknowledge the order in the Simple Tire portal.
