Tirelink Goes Idle or Displays an Error Message

← Back to Search

If your Tirelink site keeps going idle or displays an error, this is almost always caused by stored browser data. Follow the steps below to resolve the issue quickly — no need to clear your entire browser’s cache or saved passwords.

Recommended Fix: Use “Log Out & Clear Password”

The Log Out & Clear Password button clears cached data only for the Tirelink website — it will not affect any of your other saved browser passwords, history, or data.

Steps to Resolve

  1. Go to your Tirelink website
    • Navigate to your Tirelink site as you normally would (e.g. mavericktireonline.com).
  2. Click Log Out > “Log Out & Clear Password”
    • Find and click the Log Out & Clear Password button on the Tirelink site. This option was specifically designed for situations like this — it clears only Tirelink’s stored browser data, leaving all your other saved information intact.
  3. Log back in
    • Sign back into your Tirelink account. In most cases, this fully resolves the idle/error issue.

Best Alternative Option (If the Above Doesn’t Work)

If you are unable to log into your Tirelink to complete the “Log Out & Clear Password” function from above, you can Force Refresh (hard reload) your browser’s cache for the specific wholesale website.

Advise the customer to access your wholesale website and take the following keyboard commands to clear the cache for the website:

Operating System Keyboard Command/Shortcut
Windows OS Ctrl + F5
Windows OS Ctrl + Shift + R

Last Alternative Option

If the issue persists after using Log Out & Clear Password, you can clear your browser’s full cache and cookies. After clearing, close the browser completely, reopen it, and log back into Tirelink.

For instructions on how to clear cache and cookies, search “how to clear cache and cookies in [your browser name]” in any search engine.
